Welcome to my game reviews, here I will give my honest opinion on games that I have played through as well as give extra details on the platform, my progress, and the reason for my opinions.

9.8/10

Game Review Banjo Kazooie carries nostalgia for me personally, historically it helped pave the way for 3D platformers and is known by many. Regardless of Rare's unfortunate future, I will give high credit to the Rare team and Grant Kirkhope for giving people of the time memories that will be cherished for many years. Banjo Kazooie features one of the best soundtracks ive ever heard and the gameplay is fun, engaging, and makes you want to get 100% on each world, solving all puzzles and completing every minigame. Banjo Kazooie does a fantastic job at being iconic, having a theme under every track helps to connect the many worlds, the Jinjos have an unforgettable look and shout for help, Mumbo, Grunty, CLanker, the list goes on at the countless characters that are so recognizable even to those who played on release over 25 years ago. My favorite world is Rusty Bucket Bay as the world track goes unreasonably hard and the world itself has fun theme, the Rusty Bucket being the focal point and the many features of the harbor being on theme are just awesome, idk man, play the game its awesome. -Jake

Game Review Dark Souls 3 is the third, and final installment in the Fromsoftware Dark Souls series and is in my opinion, the very best. without talking on where DS2 and DS lack too much, DS3 is better in about every way. The storytelling takes the player by the hand and leads them on an unforgettable experience through the kingdom of Lothric, fighting the horrifying, the spectacular, and the depressing. Some of the notable features of DS3 include the spectacular cinematic views torn straight out of paintings and the soundtrack featuring beautiful epics and immersive tunes. The graphics unfortunately fall in an interesting period of gaming, where the graphics arent archaic enough to be charming, but also not good enough to be spectacular, regardless, the graphic quality does what it can to present the player with the aformentioned gorgeous views. The combat system feels good and seamless, the battles being some of the most rewarding in gaming history (as the series is famous for) and feature some of the greatest and most infamous challenges in RPGs as a genre. The characters featured in the game hold emotional tales, such as Yhorm, Nameless King, Ludleth, and the abyss watchers. The game belongs high on the shelf of my, and hopefully others top 15 lists and regardless on if you like its gameplay or not, credit must be given to the beautiful storytelling, music, scenes and more exhibited in this legendary title. - Jake

Game Review Mad Max is easily one of my favorite series. The films have a lot to offer for those who like cars, apololyptic stuff or just interesting media. This game has a lot to offer and contains so much content, maybe too much content for its own good, I also feel bad for the team that made the game (outside of Warner Brothers Studio) as they really poured their souls into it. I feel like they were probably being totally restricted and dictated by WB (obviously as some features of the game no longer work). Which brings my largests criticisms, the game works, sure, but to 100% it today it requires a scummed save file, for this alone, i need to take points off. More points get taken off for how bullshit some of the crow dazzle races are, they are simply tedious as the cars are slow with no ablities and requires many many tries finding out the little shortcuts which would normally be fun, if each race didnt take 4 mins. Things I love about this game include the audio, the cars sound gorgeous, and the audiotory differences between the v6s and v8s are a fun inclusion. some of the side stuff is really fun, clearing threat in regions is super fun and clearing scavenges in regions is super rewarding. A lot of mindless time can be poured into this game, truly an excellent open world-car centric game if that kinda stuff tickles your fancy. - Jake
